4 FRAME NUCS
JOHNSTONS HONEYBEE FARM sells 4 frame nucs (nucleus hives) consisting of three frames of brood, one frame of honey, plenty of bees to cover the frames, and a queen.
By May 10 - Nucs available with queens that were produced in the previous growing season and
were overwintered in our two colony hive equipment. These early nucs have the
best chance of producing a good honey crop in the current season. Priced at $90.
By June 1 -
Nucs available with queens that were produced in the current growing season.
These nucs will probably overwinter very well during the following winter. Some
of our customers have made a fall honey crop with these nucs. Priced at $80.
BROOD
We also sell frames of brood and queen cells. Brood is available for $15 per frame.
